About Kkanchi
Hi, I am Kkanchi Goel (pronounced as Kanchi). I have always been passionate about creating something that brings an impact in the lives of many. Post completing my Masters in Business Administration, I bagged my on campus placement in Virgin Mobile India in Care, Service Excellence and Compliance Domain. I also worked in a Qualitative Research firm which gave me exposure to work on several FMCG and Consumer Durable brands. But, as I was gaining corporate experience, on the other side I was building MK Writes. Yes, I used to go for my job in the daytime and worked evening onwards on my venture – MK Writes 🙂 – I knew one thing that I want to create something that could generate employment opportunities for many.
Being a first generation entrepreneur, I started MK Writes when the ‘Content’ industry hardly came into existence or was in notice. It was way inorganic which we collectively made it organic (I indeed look back and feel good about it). I consider myself fortunate to be one of the pioneers in the Digital Content Industry, which is consistently booming. The year 2011 was a turning point for MK Writes as we were able to convert 64+ clients PAN India and Overseas and became their Content Partners. From there on, there is no looking back.
Brief background
I was born and brought up in the Manchester of India i.e. Ahmedabad in the year 1987. Raised in a business family, I was fortunate to see the pros and cons of being a businessman. I was lucky to have a supportive upbringing as my parents encouraged me to get into Sports, Fitness and Co-Curricular Activities apart from being in Academics.
I excel in the field of dance especially Hip Hop and Bollywood form. I was also a student of Dr. Mrinalini Sarabhai and Dr. Mallika Sarabhai at Darpana School of Performing Arts. A National level qualified Swimmer, I have been an ‘All Round Excellence Student’ all through my life. Apart from swimming, I was also into athletics and Basketball. A lively and energetic person at heart, I am also an Adventure buff and dream to do ‘Bungee Jumping’ from World’s tallest bungee jump in Macau. (Getting Goosebumps? )

While interacting with our clients we understood that each one of them was looking for a one stop platform through which they can avail every service pertaining to Digital Content Writing that too ensuring high quality, 100% uniqueness and timely submissions. Thus, this gap inspired us to take a quick move and gear up to excel in this segment.

In this period of 13+ years, we have understood that every single day brings different challenges on your table. Be it quality, innovation, new concepts, motivation (both self and team), leadership, productivity, etc…. anything and everything adds to be a challenging part of our journey. However, we have learnt to embrace these challenges and outshine with our passion and dedication to go beyond the conventional.

Raised funding
MK Writes is a self-funded company. Till now we have never felt the need to seek investments for our company. In case we are coming up with a bigger plan in the coming future, then definitely we will seek investors for our venture.
Do you support any initiatives?
I believe and advocate Gender Equality, Women Empowerment and Animal Welfare by creating awareness across people around me. I have always believed in creating a positive impact in the life of many. I believe that every person should have financial freedom and independence to lead a happy and life full of contentment.
MK Writes India connects me to a network of innumerable content writers. While establishing my venture, I came across several women who left their jobs and dreams in order to balance their domestic life. I got an opportunity to encourage 300+ women in India and overseas (still counting) to make a comeback and either pursue freelance content work, start their own business, build their own digital agency, etc.
Kkanchi’s Vision
For me, business is not just about making money but also empowering individuals by creating ample job opportunities. I envision MK Writes as a global company. While in India, we create jobs for local talent in the content industry. Our aim is to do the same when we expand further.
How do you take Competition in this Industry?
“We believe in collaborations rather than competing with others. We believe in performing better and in only focusing on delivering what our client requires. We adhere to our motto which says – ‘We express you better. ‘We both focus on ensuring that the graph of the company ascends in terms of profits, employee and client satisfaction. Competition does not matter as we look forward to collaborations. There is no point in being in the business unless and until you are not creating that supporting and healthy ecosystem in your industry. Collaboration is the key to embracing growth for one and all.”
